Simple Appetizer Alert: Honey Mustard Dressing with Pretzels

Honey Mustard Dip with Pretzels

We hosted a potluck this past Saturday.  Among other things, we wanted to have a few munchies for people to snack on throughout the evening.  I turned to Alton Brown’s recipe for Honey Mustard Dressing and paired it with pretzel sticks for an extremely easy and tasty snack for our guests!

Honey Mustard Dressing — from Alton Brown’s “Good Eats: The Early Years” cookbook

  • 5 Tbs medium-bodied honey
  • 3 Tbs Dijon mustard (we used stone ground mustard since it was what we had on hand)
  • 2 Tbs rice wine vinegar (white wine vinegar works too)

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until smooth.

Serve as a dressing or a dip.
