We had an assortment of wine and liquor available at our wedding, as well as lemonade and bottled water. However, we also wanted to have a signature drink for the occasion. This served two purposes. It added a special and fun aspect to the bar, and was something completely unique to our wedding. It also saved on cost. By highlighting a specific drink and making a larger quantity up ahead of time, we didn’t have to feel any kind of need for a full (or even slightly full) bar. Now, it also helps when you only have a handful of people attend your wedding in the backyard, but the concept can hold true regardless of the size!
Our signature drink was especially significant because the recipe and name was created by our dear friend and wedding officiant!
Hutto Sunset (quantities for one drink)
Fill 8 oz glass with ice. Combine above ingredients and stir.
For making larger quantities, just make sure the ratios fit within the above measurements.
This combination sounds interesting. Defo will try it 🙂
That sounds pretty fantastic. Anything with rum in it gets my vote!
Are those Fiesta pitchers? I have dishes that are exactly the same color…
Actually, the pitchers are from Target and part of a line that they did of serving type dishes that could either come in the yellow and red that I have, or a blue color.
Sounds good- I bet it was a nice color, too…
The color was beautiful! Wish I had a picture of it in a glass…though that wasn’t necessarily what was on my mind during the wedding itself, lol!
And that is a good thing! 😉
Wow! That looks great, I love the yellow jugs too!
Thank you! It was great fun to do. And the jugs were a great purchase because now we can use them for multiple entertaining gatherings (They will be shown when we do pictures for our Thankful with Friends event that we are having next month).
