Adventures in Everyday Entertaining

Pantry Preserving

Classic Dill PicklesThere is a definite joy to preserving your own food.   I personally love knowing EXACTLY what is in the food I am eating.  When you make your own sauces, condiments, etc. you have complete control over what is and what is not consumed.  Food preservation also allows you to enjoy the harvest of different crops out of season.  January comes and peaches can still be enjoyed, for instance.
