I love all of the tasty recipes that Lindy shares on A Taste of Wintergreen. And when I saw this jalapeno cheese dip…I just couldn’t resist! I mean really — what’s a girl raised in Wisconsin to do when she sees a great cheesy recipe! Not only is this a delicious and flavorful appetizer, but it worked wonderfully to bring to a potluck as well!
Jalapeno Cheese Dip — modified from A Taste of Wintergreen
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix the cream cheese and mayonnaise together in a stand mixer (or you can use an electric hand mixer or food processor).
Once smooth, incorporate the cheeses, garlic, and jalapenos and mix until well combined and smooth.
Spoon into an oven-proof serving dish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
Serve with a baguette or tortilla chips.
Here is something I have had to give up as I get older…spicy food…sigh. Looks wonderful.
Laurie, totally understand! How about substituting the jalapenos for olives…or sun-dried tomatoes? Altering the flavor but still getting the cheesy goodness. 🙂

You are the best Kenley! I get craving this recipe – ultimate comfort food! xo Lindy
Yum. I’ve eaten and loved this. It’s not too spicy, but has a good jalapeno flavor.
