Gender Hugging

Happy Friday everyone!!  When I saw this meme I found it not only to be so cute…but very on point! 🙂  This week has been a crazy one as we get Dewars settled in and adjusted to his new home and family.  I have loads to catch up on and look forward to stealing a few moments this weekend to read up on all your lovely blogs (as well as responding to all your wonderful comments this last week!).

As a reminder, if you haven’t already started following Green Door Hospitality on the various social media platforms, I humbly encourage you to.  You can click the social media buttons on the side bar, or any of the links below.

Bacon PoemThere is just something awe-inspiring about the salty and savory goodness that is bacon!  I’ve thoroughly enjoyed using this tasty ingredient in recipes such as Cheddar Bacon Drop Biscuits, Linguini with Bacon Alfredo, Roasted Asparagus with Goat Cheese and Bacon Sauce, and Beer and Bacon BBQ Sauce.  Here is a fun round-up of some other blogs utilizing the wonder that is bacon.

Penne with Bacon, Leeks, and Peas from CSA for Three

Frisee Salad with Bacon from Putney Farm

Bacon, Avocado & Arugula Flatbread from Things My Belly Likes

Bacon Spinach Beer Cheese Dip from Sumptuous Spoonfuls

Fig, Blue Cheese, and Bacon Salad with Fried Shallots from Love and Olive Oil

Cheddar and Jalapeno Bacon Stuffed Chicken from Slow Down and Savor

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And now for your last weekly dose of Corgi as part of July Corgi month (designated of course by Green Door Hospitality)!
Corgi Tongue (And don’t pretend that you’ve never done this with your peanut butter jar!!!)
