Adventures in Everyday Entertaining
sigh….tranquility, it looks like a fairy tale!
It really does. We were kayaking on our honeymoon last year and turned the corner into this little grove of trees you see in the picture and just thought we had paddled into such a magical place!
calm and green!
It is indeed! 🙂
omg! that looks so much like the areas we kayak around the Space Coast.
Entering those little offshoots is so much like being sent back in time!
I’m speechless…what a perfect photo for Wordless Wed.
Thanks! And that is quite the compliment! 🙂
It did remind us a bit of certain areas of Florida! 🙂 It is so wonderful when you come across these offshoots, I totally know what you mean!
I immediately thought Florida, too! This looks like the pass between our lake and another. 🙂
Yeah, so much like Florida… and to think it was in Texas 😉
Girl, did you canoe through this?!
Close. We kayaked on our honeymoon last year and came across this area while we were paddling. It was like entering a magical little world!
So beautiful! Making me want to go on a kayak excursion…
Thanks Megan!! Yeah…posting it reminded me that we have to go kayaking again really soon!
This is gorgeous. I was just thinking that I should see if I can rent a canoe locally. I used to do that in DC and could go out to Roosevelt Island. Perfect place for a picnic along the Potomac.
Thanks Alicia! I think renting kayaks (which is what we do) or canoes are such a wonderful way to see different parts of nature, picnic, as well as get great exercise! I love the idea of canoeing in DC! How cool! 🙂
This reminds me of a scene from The Notebook!
🙂 It was so beautiful to “stumble” across it — and yeah, we felt we were entering into something from a movie!
