Hostess Gifts: Edible Treats to Show Appreciation

With Christmas next week, holiday parties are in full force!  Don’t show up empty handed.  Instead, bring a delicious homemade treat.  I’ve blogged about Brandied Apple Butter (as shown above) and our Sweet and Savory Almonds and will have some more great edible gifts to share later this week.  But in the meantime, check out a few wonderfully edible gifts that others have blogged about!

WML_Peppermint Bark

Wife Meets Life makes a delicious Peppermint Bark with layers of both white and dark chocolate!

Frugal Feeding created this wonderful sounding Red Onion Chutney that is given some heat with chillies!

Miss Marzipan offers up her recipe for Chocolate Gingerbread Truffles with a touch of mulled wine for depth!

The Marvelous Misadventures of a Foodie shows us how to make Homemade Cocktail Cherries that have just the right amount of spice!

Thanks for the mention! The peppermint bark has been a hit with everyone I’ve given it too so far. Also a plus, the recipe is big enough to gift AND have some leftover!

Let me know what you think!
