Sometimes you just want to get dressed up… put on your favorite party outfit and get dressed up to the nines. Tables feel like that too. And during the holidays, the color schemes are just screaming for some glitz and glamor. For some elegant entertaining, I donned our table in gold and ruby to really make our guests feel special. To achieve this look I didn’t go out and spend a fortune. I just looked at what we had. Gold chargers. Red napkins that could be done up like bow ties. Ruby glass that was passed down to me from my parents that I paired with gold ornaments that I had on hand (the disco ball ornaments make a fun touch). And simple martini glasses filled with glass ornament bulbs. Plus I had extra gold trimmings from when we did the Christmas tree that worked really nicely with a red vase that I normally keep in the kitchen.
beautiful!
Thank you!
The bow napkins are so lovely! Beautiful napkin rings, as well!
Thanks! And making the bows is such an easy way to really dress up your table (pun intended!)
Wow, this looks beautiful! I love the colours 🙂
