Holiday Entertaining Cocktails: Hot Chocolate with Kahlua

Kahlua and Hot Chocolate

The weather is getting colder which makes having hot drinks all the more appealing!  Kahlua and Hot Chocolate makes a great after-dinner drink to have with guests, or just on your own!  The coffee flavors of the Kahlua work really well with the chocolate.  I also sprinkled a hint of cinnamon on top of the whipped cream for that extra something special.

Hot Chocolate with Kahlua

Boil enough water for as many glasses of hot chocolate you’re going to make.

While the water is boiling, prep the glasses.  Combine desired amount of hot chocolate mix and 1 shot of Kahlua in each glass.

When water is hot enough, add to each glass.  Stir until thoroughly combined.

Top with homemade whipped cream and ground cinnamon.

Enjoy!

I love hot chocolate with a shot of Kahlua or even some of the Godiva liquors they have out. Coffee or white chocolate.

  2. Yummy! It’s definitely hot chocolate time. This looks great!

Kahlua is a lovely drink 😀 I normally have brandy or rum in my hot chocolate because we don’t have much else in and they taste pretty good too! Your’s is a bit like a boozey mocha 🙂
