Monument Hill State Park

Valentine’s weekend we went and spent the day at Monument Hill State Park. The location is the final resting ground of over 50 Texan soldiers from the Mexican War. Located on a beautiful bluff, the grounds and history of the site made for a lovely little hike. The park is also the location of the Kreische brewery and estate. I’m going to post the brewery and estate pictures in a separate post. Below are a handful of the pictures from the day.
